I really struggled to examine the effects of my invention, on society, for better and for worse, intended and not.

I nearly met the target- missing just a few opportunities to examine the effects of my invention, on society, for better and for worse, intended and not.

I can examine the effects of my invention, on society, for better and for worse, intended and not.

I can examine the effects of my inventions, on society, for better and for worse- beyond the predictable ones (unique perspective)

When done, pick up a self-assessment and assess yourself.

THE GAME: TECHtrumps

MATERIALS NEEDED:
          - Online Spinner
               - Set of Invention Cards
          - Challenge Sheet
          - Copy of the RULES
PLAYERS: At least 3, no more than 4.

2.     Place cards, face down in a stack in center.
3.     The judge uses the online SPINNER to determine the CRITERIA you will be debating (use the chart below and the online spinner).
4.      The two challengers will pull a card. On the card is an invention. Do not reveal your invention until the debate starts.
5.     You will have 30 seconds to prepare your argument for WHY your invention meets that criteria BEST (is better than the other one).
6.     Reveal your card to the other player and the judge.
7.     Each player tells the judge(s) why their invention is BETTER and/or to explain why they are more revolutionary than the other, given the criteria.
